Michelle Lam

B(Sci) Health and Safety, MBA with merit, WSHO, FSM

Michelle is the Head of Occupational Safety and Health, Asia Pacific and Africa Region with thyssenkrupp. She has 19 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment mainly in multinational companies in the oil and gas industry. She has experience in developing and instilling positive safety culture in the organisation, establishing safety management systems, and working with a diverse workforce to promote risk management and establish a corporate safety manual.

Michelle actively advocates safety within her means. She is a certified safety auditor and trainer. Beside auditing and training, she champions safety in the neighbourhood communities of Singapore. She also educates young children to develop a safety mindset from a young age as well as young parents on the importance of a safety mindset.

Michelle has been contributing to the workplace safety and health society. Michelle received her B(Sci) Health and Safety from Curtin University of Technology (Australia) and MBA with merit from University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom).
